Google launches YouTube Learning Destination
Google India has launched a new teasing platform to help students and teachers learn and teach from home. The company launched the company YouTube Learning Destination with useful and high-quality learning content created by education-focused creators on YouTube.
In a blog post on Thursday, Google stated that the blog YouTube Learning Destination ‘has content in English and Hindi, along with Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Marathi for now. Soon this material will also be made available in other Indian languages.
Google Head of Education, India and South Asia, Dhawan said, “To help ease the transition to distance education during this situation, we have globally, for all G Suite and G Suite for education customers Granted free access to Google Meat’s premium features to expand enterprise-grade video-conferencing capabilities. Additionally, Google says that it has provided training and suggestions through the ‘Teach from Home’ hub. It collaborated with FICCI Arise and has trained in over 250 schools across 23 states so far.
Earlier this week, Google accelerated efforts to get reliable information about COVID-19 to people. In India, the company also launched a new feature to help people find food and night shelters. The popular search giant teamed up with the Indian government to bring this feature to Indian users. This feature is available on all smartphones as well as KaiOS devices, and is also available in Hindi.
