Dish TV launches DTH Magic
The country’s DTH company Dish TV has launched the content streaming solution ‘D2H Magic’. Under ‘D2H Magic’, users will be able to watch live TV as well as Internet based content using the same remote control on their TV sets. Under this, customers can watch digital video streaming and OTT apps such as ZEE5, Wacho, Alt Balaji, Hungama Play in English, Hindi and other Indian languages on their existing D2H set top boxes. These customers are getting a subscription fee of only Rs 399.
You will be able to see real-time TV content and shows on the internet from D2H Magic. This will enable users to watch catch-up TV shows, original web series and video content available on popular digital platforms. ‘D2H Magic’ will be available in all major cities. Initially, the price of D2H Magic has been kept at Rs 399 with a nominal subscription price + taxes of Rs 25 every month after the free preview period of three months.
How to use
To use D2H Magic, users have to connect their new D2H set-top box to an available Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot through a ‘D2H Magic’ device. Magic devices can be connected to the USB port of the set top box. The device will be available to all and with a remote control for integrated interfaces.
